OF SKYE AND LOCHALSH
|
On Saturday 26th July, 2003, after a dance the night before, large crowds had their senses stimulated
as six of Scotlands finest chefs demonstrated their skills using produce for which this part of the world is famous.
On a warm and dry Isle of Skye day, visitors browsed local produce stalls including meat, fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruit,
cheeses, jams, wine, whisky and beers, and also a wide range of crafts.
The festival closed with another dance on Saturday night and, as the pictures show, the inaugural Great Taste of Skye and Lochalsh
has been a great success.
